Energy Efficiency and Industry 4.0: main themes of the two conferences Cannon took part last week.
Last week was very important for Cannon: on Wednesday Cannon Bono Energia participated at Fondazione Megalia congress ‘10th Industrial Energy Efficiency Day – Evolution of Technologies towards Industry 4.0’, where it talked about efficiency in paper mill and thermal power plant solutions proposed and developed by Cannon.
The second important event was the conference organized by Cannon Bono Energia in Padua, ‘High Efficiency and Industry 4.0 – Tools to Increase Business Competitiveness’: in the enchanting Caffè Pedrocchi, Livio de Chicchis, FIRE, talked about the interesting but thorny theme of the presentation of energy efficiency projects in industry, in order to obtain the white certificates (TEE – Energy Efficiency Certificates), while Luigi Parodi and Fiorenzo Raionone (EGO Power), taking up the TEE topic, declined it from an ESCo point of view, highlighting its importance as an attestation of effective savings.

Cannon Bono Energia, Cannon Artes and Cannon Automata’s interventions concerned the possible benefits brought by the application of a smart technology, both in terms of saving (of energy and, therefore, money) and of environmental impact: all the interventions showed how automation can be a real plus when we talk about efficiency improving, offering a valuable contribution in the industrial process control and management.
Roberto Guidetti, Tele Padova (7 GOLD) journalist, moderated the interventions.
The conference was an important appointment for energy efficiency technicians operating in the industrial field, very interested in Industry 4.0 applications.
